Images shown as part of the content recommendation are resized and cropped automatically by our system. The image service includes face detection to ensure that cropped images are focusing on faces.
Image resizing is always activated for ads. For article recommendations we primarily use the image directly from your own domain and adopt the widget to fit your commonly used image sizes. If needed our own image service is activated (e.g. when intelligent cropping of images is of importance).
